1. Funding for Russian Partners

The Programme is implemented in line with the co-financing approach, which consists of the joint allocation of funds by member countries to the Programme funds, as well as the financial participation of project partners in the implementation of projects.

According to the Programme terms, 8.8 million EUR can be allocated from the Programme funds for project activities in Russia, and 4.4 million EUR of them come from Russian national funding.

Each project should be partially financed by project partners in the amount at least 15% of the project cost.

During the third call for project applications, Russian participants can receive 5.1 million EUR from the Programme funds.

Procurement by Russian partners, except for public legal entities, in accordance with clause “k”, article 2 of the Agreement, as well as other legal entities whose procurement is regulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation to the Agreement between the Government of  the Russian Federation, the European Commission and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on financial contributions for the implementation of the Transnational European Territorial Cooperation Programme “Interreg Baltic Sea Region” for the period 2014-2020 in the Russian Federation (financial agreement);
